Terms and Conditions for the Purchase of Digital Embroidery Designs

1. General

By purchasing and downloading digital embroidery designs from AMoD Embroidery Society by the Australian Museum of Design, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Personal Use License

– The purchase of digital embroidery designs grants you a personal use license only.
– You may use the designs for personal projects, including creating items for yourself, gifts, and personal enjoyment.
– This license does not permit you to use the designs for commercial purposes.

3. Restrictions

– You may not resell, redistribute, or share the digital embroidery designs in any form.
– You may not modify the designs for resale or commercial distribution.
– You may not claim the designs as your own work.

4. Commercial Use

– If you wish to use the digital embroidery designs for commercial purposes, you must contact the AMoD Embroidery Society by the Australian Museum of Design to discuss obtaining a commercial use license.
– Commercial use includes, but is not limited to, using the designs to create items for sale, mass production, or any other profit-generating activities.

5. Intellectual Property

– All digital embroidery designs are the intellectual property of the AMoD Embroidery Society by the Australian Museum of Design.
– Unauthorised use of the designs infringes on intellectual property rights and will be subject to legal action.

6. Liability

– The AMoD Embroidery Society by the Australian Museum of Design is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use or inability to use the digital embroidery designs.
– The designs are provided “as is” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7. Termination

– Any violation of these terms and conditions will result in the termination of your personal use license.
– Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the digital embroidery designs in your possession.

8. Amendments

– The AMoD Embroidery Society by the Australian Museum of Design reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
– Continued use of the digital embroidery designs after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms and conditions.

9. Governing Law

– These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
– Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
